Call for Palani hills National Park
TRIVANDRUM: Environmental groups are pressing Tamil Nadu to declare a protected area adjoining the Kurinjimala Sanctuary formed by the Kerala Government near Munnar.
The Nature Lovers’ Club at the Secretariat here, GREENS (Group Endevour
for Environment and Nature Sustenance), has submitted a memorandum to
the Tamil Nadu Minister of Forests urging the State to protect the
kurinji habitat at Palani hills. The Palni Hills Conservation The

take up the issue with Tamil Nadu.
